Frequently Asked Questions

What is your cancellation Policy?

Due to the nature of, and commitments inherent to, the conduct of firearms training, no refunds will be given for any reason (except as described below). If, for any reason, you are unable to attend a course you registered for, you may: a) transfer your registration to someone else or b) apply your registration fee to another upcoming course. If you perform a negligent act, have a negligent discharge, or in any way put into doubt your own safety or the safety of the class, you will be asked to leave without a refund.

If Outrider Training Group cancels a class because of low attendance, exigent circumstances, or for any other reason, all students will be contacted promptly. You may either receive a full refund of the course cost or apply your registration fee to another upcoming course.

Are your classes appropriate for beginners?

None of our courses have any formal prerequisites HOWEVER, we strongly recommend that this is not your first shooting class. We need you to be intimately familiar with firearms safety and be competent in the manual of arms for your gun(s).

A good rule of thumb is you should be able to draw, reload, fix common malfunctions, and keep 10 rounds in the A-Zone of an IPSC style target at 10 yards without a time limit.

Are collapsible nylon or SERPA holsters allowed?

No. You're worth more than that.
